The Management of the Campus met this morning to assess the situation with respect to the approaching
tropical storm. The island is now under a Tropical Storm Warning and Hurricane Watch. Against this
background, effective 2pm today, the Campus will pivot to full online operations.

Consequently, we are asking our Jamaican students on our halls of residence to immediately begin
vacating the halls, given that physical operations on the Campus will be suspended. Regional and
International students will remain on hall.

Staff during this period will work remotely except for designated essential staff who are required to
safeguard the Campus.

This position remains in effect until the Campus Management advises otherwise. Kindly therefore be alert
for further advisories over the course of the weekend that will indicate how we will operate next week.
The Management Team would like to use this opportunity to urge all members of our community to
remain safe and take the necessary actions to protect lives and livelihood.
