The University of the West Indies, Mona, took centre stage in a critical conversation addressing the financing of tertiary education in Jamaica, as it hosted a forum intending to chart a new path forward.

As The University of the West Indies (The UWI) marks 75 years since the official opening of its inaugural Campus in Mona, Jamaica, a jubilee milestone is also being celebrated at Cave Hill Campus—60 years of existence.

Four remarkable students are set to share messages of hope, grit and pure ‘Pelican Pride’ when they address The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus’ graduation ceremonies scheduled for November 3 and 4, 2023.
