The Caribbean Child Development Centre (CCDC) Online Research Database on Violence Prevention Programmes in Jamaica http://ccdcresearch.mona.uwi.edu/

The Caribbean Child Development Centre of the University of the West Indies approached MITS for the development of an application to capture information on its Bibliography as well as on Violence Prevention Programmes for children in Jamaica . They wanted these programmes to be documented online so that interested parties have one source of information of these projects. This ought to prevent wasting of funds on duplication of effort, as well as enhancing people's knowledge of such programmes.

This project has been completed and CCDC is in discussion with MITS for an application for current intervention progammes in Jamaica targeting children affected by HIV/AIDS
