The University of the West Indies (The UWI), Mona Campus proudly celebrates the exceptional achievements of five graduating students whose academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to service exemplify the highest ideals of the institution.

We entered January 2025 with great hope and aspirations for a rewarding year. No one could predict that within 301 days, hope would turn into sorrow for many of our brothers and sisters who suffered immeasurable loss and damage from Hurricane Melissa.

Further to our advisory of Sunday, October 26th, the Management of the Campus met today following a preliminary assessment of the impact of Hurricane Melissa.

Effective 2:00 p.m. today, Thursday, October 23, 2025, The UWI, Mona Campus will pivot to full online operations due to Tropical Storm Melissa.

The One Stop Graduation Photo Centre will close at 2 pm today until further notice.
